Sandrine Holt was born Sandrine Holt in London on the 19th of November 1972. Her parents are the Chinese father and her French mother. At the age of five the family relocated from the Chinese region to Canada. She was a Parisian catwalk-model before she began her career as an actor. Her film debut was as Annuka in the year 1991 with Black Robe. This role was recognized with the Genie Award, the Canadian Oscar. Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas & Dance with the Murderer, and guest appearances on Poltergeist The Uncanny Force & Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension were the next. John Woo's The Thief featured her in 22 episodes. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation was later followed by Resident Evil Apocalypse in 2004. The two films are available as DVDVHS. The first part of her series was 24 Twenty Four. After various guest roles in series and smaller roles in film Holt took on a leading role as a lead character in Hostages in 2013 and a supporting role in the Netflix show House of Cards. She played Julie Han as part of the US remake The Returned and Dr. Bethany Exner.
